    Program Highlights

    • EXPLORE & PHOTOGRAPH the gigantic glaciers and icebergs from the air and by boat

    • WALK ON THE KANGIA GLACIER (also known as Jakobshavn), which has been studied for 250 years and is now in rapid retreat, moving up to 150 feet a day. It is believed to have spawned the iceberg that sank the RMS Titanic.

    • HELICOPTER EXCURSION out over the vast Greenland ice sheet to see the hundreds of meltwater streams disappearing into the cavernous voids.

    • PRIVATE BRIEFINGS from front-line scientists, Arctic experts, local residents, and military leaders to get the real story, behind the headlines and the hype.
